Torregrotta (Sicilian: Turri) is a small town and municipality (comune) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 170 kilometres (110 mi) east of Palermo and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of Messina. As of 31 August 2012, it had a population of 7,473 and an area of 4.22 square kilometres (1.63 sq mi).
