Toolamba primary school
Toolamba Primary School is a small primary school of 127 students located in the township of Toolamba, 17 kilometres south of Shepparton on the western side of the Goulburn River. Heather Kennedy has been the principal since 2005.

Toolamba primary school opening
Student Leadership
Each year at Toolamba Primary School the students and staff vote to fill the student leadership positions. These positions include School Captains, Vice-Captains, House Captains and Junior School Council Representatives. Grade 6 students fill the majority of these roles. The elections are held on the second last Tuesday of each year. The students and teacher will get one vote to pick out of various choices. The students vote for a male and female school and vice-captain, house captain (Bayunga, Goulburn, Hovell), and two students from each class for Junior School Council. Once the election is held, the votes are counted and on the final assembly the principal will announce who the successful leaders are for the following year.
Kindergarten
A Kindergarten has been a part of the Toolamba community for 19 years. The kindergarten suffered the same fate as the primary school in the early hours of Wednesday 3 February 2010 when fire ravaged the building. Remarkably the kindergarten playground survived with only damage being done to the shade sail. A portable kindergarten was in use from 2010 to 2013. During November 2013 the new Toolamba kindergarten was officially opened by Minister Wendy Lovell.
Inside facilities
Some of the special features include learning, sport and cooking facilities Firstly, Toolamba Primary School has many inside facilities such as the multipurpose room, staff room, six classrooms, central learning space, art room and offices. The multipurpose room includes many types of features such as microwave, dishwasher, fridge, cooking area, oven, tables, chairs, interactive whiteboard and compactus shelving. The Staff room also caters for 15 staff including a lovely kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, couches, bench space and a large conference table with leather office chairs sitting around the table.
The Central learning space includes couches and beanbags to sit on whilst playing a quiet game or doing a test.
Art room includes many tables and it also has many windows and has got a lot of natural light it also has an interactive whiteboard and a printer and many cupboards for all the art supplies and a sink as well.
