The 2011 Tour was a concert tour by American rock band Tool.

Contents

In late September 2010, it was revealed that Tool would be headlining New Zealand and Australia's Big Day Out Festival in early 2011, and confirmed two headline shows in Brisbane, and Melbourne. In November 2010, the band confirmed a Hawaii show in Honolulu.

Kirk Hammett of Metallica joined Tool at their show in Honolulu. Hammett played on the song Lateralus, interpolating a portion of Metallica‘s song Orion, then returning to the ending of Lateralus.

Jeff Friedl of Ashes Divide, and Jason Johnston of Jakob joined Tool at their headline show in Melbourne, also playing Lateralus with Metallica's Orion snippet.

Till Lindemann, Christoph Schneider and Paul Landers of Rammstein joined Tool in Adelaide at their Big Day Out show. Schneider played a brief drum solo with Danny Carey before Lindemann stormed the stage and lit Schneider's drumkit on fire.
