Tonči Gabrić (born 11 November 1961 in Split) is a former Croatian football player in goalkeeper role.

Career

He played before 1991 in Yugoslav teams NK Čelik Zenica and NK Rijeka. After Yugoslavia dissolution, he played for two years in Greece with PAOK Thessaloniki FC (1991–1993), and in Croatia with NK Pazinka (1993–1994), and Hajduk Split (1994–1999). He was a regular reserve goalkeeper in the Croatian national team between 1990 and 1997, winning a total of nine international caps and being part of the Euro 1996 squad. His son, Drago Gabrić (born 1986) is also playing football in midfielder role with NK Rijeka. Drago's twin Paškvalina has been one of the best female footballers in Croatia for a number of years playing for Viktoria Slavonski Brod and ZNK Zagreb as well as being on trial with Charlton Athletic FC of England. Today, he is working at Hajduk Split as a goalkeeping coach for the first team.
