Career
Beginning his career in the youth team at TSG Weinheim. Mamodaly spent several years playing in the youth team at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. In June 2008 Mamodaly joined Karlsruher SC. One year later he left the club moving to Dynamo Dresden after the transfer to Dundee United didn't came about due to the commitment of Danny Cadamarteri. He was released by Dynamo in summer 2011.
International career
Mamodaly made his international debut for Madagascar in 2010.
