Anthony William Haward Mallett (29 August 1924 – 10 December 1994) was an English cricketer active from 1946 to 1954 who played for Oxford University and Kent.

Tony Mallett was born in Dulwich and educated at Dulwich College and Brasenose College, Oxford. He appeared in 75 first-class matches as a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. He scored 1,764 runs with a highest score of 97 and took 213 wickets with a best performance of six for 42.

When his cricketing career ended Tony Mallett joined the staff of Peterhouse in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) where he became housemaster of Ellis House and a senior teacher. In 1963 he was appointed Principal of Diocesan College in Cape Town, South Africa which post he held until his retirement in 1983, when he was succeeded by John Peake, a former Eton housemaster.

His son Nick played & later coached the Springboks rugby union team.
