In the late 1980s, Linfjard mainly played jazz in different constellations around Scandinavia. During this time he had his own jazz trio together with the Swedish bass-player Peter Jansson and the Swedish-Norwegian drummer David Sundby.
In 1990, he started his own publishing and production company, Blue Ball Music, and released his first CD in his own name: an instrumental production called “ONE”. He has produced seven CDs under his own name. Linfjard has composed music for around 130 different film productions, mainly corporate movies but also some drama and documentary films. He has also composed music for radio theatre. Some of the music for these productions has been awarded both nationally and internationally.
