Tono (都乃, born October 31) is a Japanese actress and singer.Vocal of band "PEPESALE". She is from Shizuoka. Height is 168 cm. She likes fashion. Favorite foods are banana and apple.

Life and career

  • On September 24, 2008, Tono made her debut as a member of chorus unit "M". She was mainly in charge of melody and low part.
  • When she was a member of the girl group "M", 1st single CD was 14th in Oricon chart, 2nd single CD was 20th in Oricon chart, and 3rd single CD was 38th in Oricon chart.
  • On May 1, 2010, she announced to graduate from "M". After that, she started solo career as R&B singer Tono (都乃).
  • On April 1, 2013, she changed solo career name as SATONO.
  • From 2014, she also started career as a vocal of PEPESALE, as Tono (都乃).
  • While actively doing live performance (singing), she is also doing internet live streaming (TwitCasting and SHOWROOM) to widely spread own music all over the world.
  • She served as swing of the Toho musical "RENT" (2015 Japan version).
  • She had tried for musical "RENT" audition on 2012, and as a second trial on 2015, she won the swing.

  • Her voice has specialty of wide spreading husky voice. Also, handles variety of voices, such as whistle voice which comes from low thick voice.
  • She takes care most of the lyrics of songs for band PEPESALE. As R&B singer SATONO, she is doing songwriting.
  • She favors banana and apple, and always carrying. People around her say that "Who always carry banana and apple is gorilla or Tono".
  • Owns the skill of calligraphy six-stage, and has influenced by the relatives who is doing Japanese flower arrangement, Japanese tea ceremony. She has characteristics of Japanese style woman, such as dressing Japanese "Yukata" by herself.
