Tomoya Ohtani (大谷 智哉, Ōtani Tomoya, born July 1, 1974, in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese composer and musician who works for video game company Sega, where he has been one of the sound directors for the Sonic the Hedgehog series since the mid–2000s. Ohtani also performs live musical pieces from the Sonic series on bass guitar, often alongside fellow Sega musician Jun Senoue.
