Queen of the South

When Tommy McCall was with Dumfries club Queen of the South, he broke the Scottish record for goal scoring in a season from his position. The left winger scored 32 goals in season 1932-33. Queens ended that 1932–33 league campaign with a 2–1 away victory over divisional champions Hibernian earning promotion to the top flight of Scottish football as divisional runners up. McCall was among the scorers against Hibs.

McCall is 7th in the Queens all time goal-scoring charts with 93 goals, placing him between Stevie Mallan (94 goals) and the tied Ian Reid and Jimmy Robertson who are both on 89 goals.
