Toko Kaiun Kaisha, Ltd. (東興海運株式会社, Toko Kaiun Kabushiki-gaisha) referred to as Toko Line, is an independent middle standing Japanese shipping company] which moves mainly Japanese cargoes, especially steel products, to North America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and also transports plant cargoes, grain cargoes and forest products. In recent year, the company is expanding the liner service network to China, Bengal/India area and the Middle East with general cargo, construction machinery, and vehicles.

  • 1949 - The name of company was changed to "Toko Kaiun kaisha, Ltd." and relocated the head office Kobe, Japan.
  • 1959 - The company broke into the oceangoing shipping business.
