Hutzler's passion is the exploration of other cultures, worlds, and people. As a teenager he set out on his first major photographic adventure: He crossed the Sahara desert, joined expeditions to climb the highest peaks in Africa and photographed throughout India. At a young age, his perspective for capturing life in all its facets was shaped. He continues to credit traveling the world as his greatest influence.
