Tinglin Park (Chinese: 亭林公园; pīnyīn: tínglíngōngyuán) is located in the north-west of Kunshan, China.

Because the Yufeng mountain in this park looks like a saddle (Chinese meaning: 马鞍; pīnyīn: mǎ’ān) and is distinctive within a hundred miles, this park was named Ma’anshan Park in 1906. In 1936, it was renamed Tinglin Park in memory of the 17th-century scholar Gu Yanwu, who is also widely called Gu Tinglin.

It covers an area of more than 850 acres with green mountains and clear waters.

Brief Introduction

The same as many other historic buildings, Tinglin Park has a long history and there are a good many places of interest in it, which attract thousands of tourists every year. It is known as "the best among the mountains of the Jiangdong”. The beauty of the entrance door consists in the style of its ancient buildings, such as archways, wall buildings.
