Timothy (Tim) J. Rosta (born March 11, 1958) is an American music and television marketing executive and a prominent supporter of social causes.

Career
President of his own consulting business since 2009, Tim Rosta Inc., Rosta has various clients in the media, entertainment, and non-profit industries. One such client is OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, where Tim Rosta is fulfilling the role of Executive-Level Consultant overseeing all of the brand integrations being developed by OWN's Integrated Marketing team.
Named Senior Vice President of Integrated Marketing at MTV Networks from September 2000 to December 2009, Rosta oversaw the creation and implementation of on and off channel marketing integrations across the network’s brand portfolio, including MTV, MTV2, MTVU, MTV Tr3́s, and mtv.com.
One of Rosta’s most recognized contributions to the MTV brand was his management and execution of all advertiser integrations and events for the annual MTV Video Music Awards, also known as the VMA’s.
Social Causes
Tim Rosta is a member of the Board of Directors of the award-winning MTV Staying Alive Foundation. Rosta played an integral role in the global success of the world-televised Levi’s presents MTV’s Staying Alive Concert in Cape Town, South Africa, which aired on World AIDS Day, December 1, 2002. Staying Alive is the largest youth-focused HIV and AIDS prevention campaign in the world.
Rosta is also known for his extensive involvement in the New York-based national organization, LIFEbeat, “The Music Industry Fights AIDS.” Serving from 1992 to 2000 as Founding Executive Director, Rosta led LIFEbeat to become highly recognized and supported among top music industry celebrities and executives, making LIFEbeat a major facilitator of HIV/AIDS prevention and education in the United States. Tim Rosta still sits on the Board of Directors.
