1736 - Town becomes capital of the Erivan Khanate.

1827 - 1 October: Capture of Erivan; Russians in power; Persians depart.
1828 - Town becomes part of Russia per Treaty of Turkmenchay.
1830 - Red Bridge rebuilt.
1837 - Tsarskaya Street opens.
