Tim DeLaughter (born November 18, 1965) is an American singer and songwriter, known as the frontman for both Tripping Daisy and later The Polyphonic Spree.

Tim DeLaughter was not in the band Secret Machines stated above. Though he & Tripping Daisy can definitely be tied in closely with them. Secret Machjnes featured founding members of Dallas band, UFOFU...Brothers, Benjamin Curtis & Brandon Curtis. Benjamin (1978-2012) was the drummer for Tripping Daisy from 1997 to its disbanding. Brother, Brandon has been performing with Tripping Daisy during their 2027 reunion shows doing back-up vocals & playing keyboard. Also, Secret Machines band member, Phil Karnats has past & current Tripping Daisy ties, having been with them 1997-1999 and the 2017 reunion shows.
