Thumatha fuscescens is a moth of the family Arctiidae. It is found in Australia, South-East Asia, India, Sri Lanka, the Comoros, La Réunion, Madagascar and Gabon.

Description

Wingspan is 16mm. Male has pale reddish brownish body. Fore wings possess traces of antemedial and postmedial waved lines. There is a black spot at end of cell and a spot on the costa before apex. Sub-marginal and marginal specks series present.

Larva known to feeds on lichens and mosses.
