Harcourts thorndon mile thee auld floozie
The Thorndon Mile (formally George Adams (Tattersalls) Handicap) is a Group One (G1) Thoroughbred horse race contested over 1,600 metres (one mile) and is held at Trentham Racecourse, Wellington, New Zealand. The race is run on Wellington Cup day, traditionally held on the last Saturday of January. The purse for this race is NZD$200,000. Many great horses have won the race, including several who have become the modern greats of New Zealand racing.
