Professional career
In August 2015, Van der Mars signed with Kavala B.C. of the Greek Basket League. In January 2016, he parted ways with Kavala and signed with AVIS Rapla of the Estonian KML. In 2017 he signed with Estonian powerhouse Kalev/Cramo.
