Thomas Francis Swinford (9 May 1839 – 23 January 1915) was an English cricketer active in first-class cricket in 1874. Born at Margate, Kent, Swinford was a right-handed batsman.
Educated at Blackheath Proprietary School, Swinford's first-class debut came for Kent against Derbyshire, with him making three further appearances in 1874 against Lancashire, Derbyshire, and the Gentlemen of the Marylebone Cricket Club. Swinford scored 89 runs in his four matches, including a score of fifty against Lancashire. He was described in Wisden as a "good batsman and long-stop."
He served as a captain in H. M.'s 98th Regiment (North Staffordshire). He died at Polegate, Sussex on 23 January 1915.
