Employment history
Before taking on his current role at PBF, Nimbley was a Principal for Nimbley Consultants LLC., a consulting services firm. There, he facilitated the acquisition of two refineries. Other key executive roles he has held include: Senior Vice President and Head of Refining for Phillips Petroleum Company and for ConocoPhillips' domestic refining system following the merger of Phillips and Conoco. He also worked at Tosco Corporation and its subsidiaries in a variety of roles, beginning April 1993.
Nimbley started his career in 1973 at Exxon, where he remained for two decades.
