Tholymis tillarga eclosion


Tholymis tillarga, the coral-tailed cloudwing, is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is found from tropical West Africa to Asia, Australia and the Pacific Islands. The common names include old world twister, evening skimmer, crepuscular darter, and foggy-winged twister. It is a migrant with permanent presence in the humid parts of the tropics. It breeds in all kinds of standing water-bodies; prefers weedy ponds, swamps and lakes. They are active at dusk and dawn, as well as during cloudy days.
