Thinnelapudi is a village in Kota mandel, Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh, India. The name itself says "thinnelu", means "dunes", "pudi" means "bury". So, Thinnelapudi means it was buried with sand dunes. Once, this village was totally drown from huge floods and it was buried with sand dunes because it is situated on the banks of the Swarnamukhi River.
