The Wire Tapes, Volume One is a tour-only album released by Dashboard Confessional in 2007.

Contents

The album is a collection of cover songs, sold only during Chris Carrabba's solo acoustic tour during fall 2007. It was also available as a limited release through the band's website in September of that same year. The album precedes The Shade of Poison Trees, which was released on October 2nd on Vagrant Records.

Differences

  • The end of "Theme from Flood" is changed. The original lyrics were "It's a brand new record/For 1990/They Might Be Giants' brand new album 'Flood'". However, Carrabba changed the lyrics to "It's a brand new record/of songs we've covered/We hope you like them, here is volume one". The song is also listed on the album cover as "Theme From Volume 1" to reflect these changes.
  • Songs
