The Whiting is a performing arts venue located on the Flint Cultural Center campus in Flint, Michigan. The Whiting provides facilities, programs, and services to present performing artists from around the world in music, comedy, theater, dance, and more. The theater is home to the Flint Symphony Orchestra, Annual Holiday Pops, community graduations, recitals, and many other events.

The auditorium features a 35.5'-by-55' stage. Of the 2,043 auditorium seats, 1,119 seats are on the orchestra level, 150 are on the orchestra pit lift, 332 are on the mezzanine, 308 are on the lower balcony, 156 are on the middle balcony, and the remaining 128 reside on the upper balcony.
The theater originally opened in 1967 as the James H. Whiting Auditorium, named after James H. Whiting, an early pioneer of the auto industry and one of the founders of Flint Wagon Works. The Whiting acquired its current title after a renovation in 1999.
Harry Bertoia was commissioned in 1967 to design the Golden Sun, a spherical sculpture (seven feet in diameter) made up of 675 gold-plated stainless steel branches. The work hangs in the lobby of the venue.
