One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Five coaches, themselves popular performing artists, composers and producers, train talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner.
The winner of first season was Salome Katamadze with 48.6% of the votes. She was awarded by the show's sponsor, Geocell, a trip to Los Angeles, California to record single at Universal Music Studio. She was also provided with a flat in Digomi Palace Complex by Archi Group located in Tbilisi.
3 days after the end of first season, in April 2013 The Voice Kids of Georgia began.
