The Voice is a European radio and TV station operating in Northern Europe and Bulgaria. The station is owned by the Dutch media concern SBS Broadcasting (Scandinavian Broadcasting System), which again is owned by the German media concern ProSiebenSat.1 Media. The radio concept consists mostly of new Pop, RnB and Rock songs, real life events and on-air comedy. The target audience of the listeners is 15 to 25 years old. The radio and TV station income is generated by TV and radio spots. The station was founded in Denmark as a local radio in the Copenhagen area.

    The Voice is supported with speakers all days, in the daytimes. In some of the countries, The Voice radio broadcasts parallel with The Voice TV. So what is heard on radio, is the same seen on TV.

    A daily morning show is presented on all The Voice stations, with local speakers and local stuff and stories. Furthermore all countries present different shows, with local speakers in the afternoon hours.

    Frequencies

    In Denmark, The Voice covers most of the bigger cities. The Voice is available on FM in Copenhagen and nearby citites, Odense and most of the rest of Funen, Aarhus and nearby cities, Vejle and nearby cities and in Aalborg. It is also available on DAB Digital Radio all over the country, on cable all over the country, and on the Internet. The Voice TV is available on cable TV (YouSee), Digital via antenna with Boxer and satellite TV (Canal Digital), all over the country.

    In Sweden, The Voice radio is available on 105.9 MHz in Stockholm, and on the Internet.

    The Voice in Norway was available on FM in Oslo, Stavanger and Trondheim. You could previously also listen to The Voice all over Norway via DAB Digital Radio, and on the Internet. The Voice TV was available on satellite via Canal Digital.
