Plot

Princess Kelsea Raleigh Glynn must defeat the powers of the Red Queen, who is out to destroy her. She must journey to the royal castle to claim her throne, and is accompanied only by the loyal Queen’s Guard which is led by the mysterious Lazarus.

Reaction

The Detroit Free Press reported Emma Watson "conceded she couldn’t put the book down. Having sworn she’d never do another franchise, her interest is a gigantic compliment...".

Film adaptation

A movie based on the book is in early production, with Emma Watson announced as the executive producer and the star, David Heyman as the producer, and Warner Bros. as the distributor.

The role of the main love interest and Knight, Pen, has recently been cast. François Arnaud will play the role of Pen. Arnaud competed for the role with 4 other Actors. The other Actors' names are not currently known.
