The Patriot is a 1986 action film directed by Frank Harris and starring Gregg Henry, Simone Griffeth and Stack Pierce with Leslie Nielsen.
A gang lead by a man called Atkins (played by Stack Pierce) steal nuclear weapons from a storage facility in a desert somewhere. A burnt out former navy seal and Vietnam vet who was previously dishonorably discharged, is contacted by his former commanding officer to help retrieve the weapons. He goes after them.

Action figure and snorkel set
A scuba diving action figure featuring removable mask, fins, wetsuit, scuba tank, and horse collar buoyancy compensator was produced for the film. In addition a snorkel set consisting of a mask, snorkel and fins were made.
Legacy
The Coen Brothers have referenced the film as a major influence on their later work. In particular, the character Jim "Kraken" Jones was a role model for the character Anton Chigurh in the movie No Country for Old Men. It also helped to popularize the phrase, "Tijuana oil job".
