About the book
The story is based on the events in fictitious world centered on "Mainlands". An evil and merciless Emperor called Grimoran has risen from the west and laid siege of a sizable portion of the mainlands. His gigantic Empire (known as the Axal Empire) threatens the peace and courts destruction to the surrounding kingdoms. To repel the Emperor's invading attack waves, the remaining kingdoms of the mainland unite and form an alliance. A resistance movement leader, Eroberer meets two teenage boys Zindor and Rador who offer him their service against the Empire. The boys pledge to fight in any possible way. Eroberer sends them to a mission to acquire a set of magical objects that may serve as the defeating weapon against the Emperor. Joined by a town girl Rohya and Eroberer’s little sister Esha, they are escorted by a man they meet on their way called Nebu. Locked in a race against the Empire, the five travel together to pursue a powerful legend and collect objects, sometimes going through death-defying dangers to get them.
About the Author
Saif Ur Rahman is a Saudi-born Indian Author hailing from Hyderabad. Fascination for fiction and fantasy compelled him to work upon a narrative storyline called: "The Nucle Saga" of which "The Nucle Saga I" is the first part of his series and will be followed by its four more sequels. An ardent reader at young age, while reading A tale of two cities by Charles Dickens, he stumbled to an idea to try his hands in writing.
A little bit later, while writing an essay in his school about the twins, he inspired to write a story revolving around a legend entity. It took almost seven years to materialize his dream. The graduate student from Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, Saif Ur Rahman, enjoys good fan following. He previously studied from International Indian Public School, Riyadh (I.I.P.S).
The author is currently working on two books, i.e. The Nucle Saga II and Inara .
Themes
Saif Ur Rahman drew inspiration from J. R. R. Tolkien's epic work The Lord of the Rings, admitting that it was a heavy influence to his writing for the Nucle Saga. The storyline is in constant state of motion and occasionally pauses to reflect on flashbacks. The book tries to show a perception of each character of the book (exception being the character Rador). The starting and ending of the book is deeply connected and mirrors each other. Saif Ur Rahman asserts that it's the traditional Good Vs. Evil theme all over his book. According to him, many parts of the book are symbolic in nature. For instance, the group of five breaking into the pyramids denotes the breaking of taboo and psychological boundaries.
