The Mountain Announces is the second album by the Scatter collective. The album was released in 2006 on the Blank Tapes label. It introduced a new vocalist for the group, Hanna Tuulikki, as well as including a traditional Irish folk standard, She Moved Through the Fair, and an eight-verse version of the epic Scottish poem/song, The Dowie Dens of Yarrow.
