The Monmouth Journal is a weekly newspaper based in Red Bank, New Jersey.

The newspaper covers ten towns in the northern Monmouth County area, including Red Bank, Middletown, Rumson, Fair Haven, Little Silver, Monmouth Beach, Sea Bright, Highlands, Shrewsbury and Atlantic Highlands.

The newspaper is owned by The Monmouth Journal, LLC.

The publisher of The Monmouth Journal is Douglas Paviluk, who has worked for both daily and weekly newspapers in the area and has been in the newspaper industry for 30 years.

The general manager of the newspaper is Susan Eckenfelder Paviluk, who has also worked for both weekly and daily newspapers in graphic design and layout in the Monmouth and Ocean County areas for the past 20 years.

The Monmouth Journal has a weekly distribution of 10,000 copies every Friday, 52 weeks per year, and is available at more than 200 retail distribution outlets in the northern Monmouth Country area. The company also operates themonmouthjournal.com.

Distribution

The Monmouth Journal is a free weekly newspaper that is distributed at 200 locations in the "Two River" area of northern Monmouth County. The Two River area encompasses those towns that border, or are near, the Shrewsbury River and Navesink River.

The Monmouth Journal concentrates solely on the ten towns it serves with news coverage, as well as blanketing those towns with the paper during its distribution every Friday.

It distributes approximately two times as many newspapers every week as its local competitor, The Two River Times.
