History
The company was founded and keeps its head office in London. It has offices in New York, Melbourne, Madrid, Hong Kong, Colombia and also Santiago, Chile. In 2011, the company won a place on the Start-Up Chile entrepreneurship program.
In 2012, The Intern Group won the entrepreneurship competition at the 6th Summit of the Americas.
In 2013, The Intern Group had nearly 1000 participants in its program.
In 2014, the company qualified as a semi-finalist in the StartmeupHK Venture Programme sponsored by the InvestHK agency of the Government of Hong Kong.
Partnerships
The Intern Group has a partnership with National University of Singapore (NUS), which awards its students academic credit and financial aid for programs with The Intern Group. Other partnerships include the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University of Newcastle, the University of New South Wales and La Trobe University in Australia. London School of Economics (LSE), Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC), The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), Universidad de Mendoza and University of Essex are also partnerships of The Intern Group.
