Duda (Karachay-Balkar: Дудалары, Dudalari) - surname of the princes (Biy) of the Karachai.

The Duda attributes his origin to the Karachays legendary leader of the Karcha, by his son named Duda. He was born with a girl, originating from the Crimean Khan's in the Giray dynasty.
