The Fury of a Patient Man (Spanish: Tarde para la ira) is a 2016 Spanish thriller film directed by Raúl Arévalo. The film made its debut in the Horizons section at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival. It was also screened in the Discovery section at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. The film won four Goya Awards, including Best Film, Best New Director, Best Supporting Actor – Manolo Solo –, and Best Original Screenplay.

Plot
Madrid, August 2007. Curro is imprisoned after taking part in the robbery of a jewelry store. Eight years later, he leaves prison with the intention of beginning a new life, together with his girlfriend Ana and his son, but he encounters an unexpected situation and an stranger, José, who will take him to an unknown course, close to vengeance.
