The Friday Nights are a three-piece Indie/Ska band from Dunstable, England, formed in 2005. The band consists of brothers, Matthew and Daniel Wyatt, alongside frontman Joseph Palmer.

Overview

The band formed during their time at Queensbury Upper School in Dunstable, when drummer Matthew and his twin brother Daniel were only 16.

The band recorded two E.P.'s, 'To the Ones I Love' 2007, and 'Divorce From Reality' 2008, before releasing their debut single,'A Certain Ratio' in March 2010. All tracks were recorded with local producer, and band inspiration, Justin Saban.

The band played a live set on local radio station, BBC Three Counties Radio in 2007, while also opening the BBC Three Counties Radio festival in St. George's Square, Luton later in the year. Performances at other notable venues include; Bedford Esquires, The Marquee Club, The Good Ship and Purple Turtle.

The Friday Nights have supported, amongst others, The Cheek, Pete and the Pirates, Sergeant (band), The Displacements, Tom Allalone & The 78s and Red Light Company.
