Also called “Haas Award” is a prestigious international award from the University of California at Berkeley since 1964 and established by Walter A. Haas Jr., Peter E. Haas and Richard Goldman. This honor recognizes students or alumni of the University who are from a different country to the United States and possessing a distinguished contributions to their country in any field of activity like arts, sciences, professions, education, business or government. This award has been obtained only by great personalities such as Presidents, Ministers, Commissioners, Governors, Ambassadors, Pritzker Architecture Prizes, Nobel Prizes, CEOs, amog others.

The award includes a $15,000 USD like monetary stimulus, a medallion engraved and per diem expenses to receive in May at University’s Commencement Convocation Ceremony.
