The Disruption was the first release by American indie rock band Cursive and was released in 1996 on Lumberjack Records, and was re-released in 1997 with alternative cover art, when Lumberjack changed their name to Saddle Creek. The only format it was available in was 7".

Contents

The songs were later put on the compilation, The Difference Between Houses and Homes in 2005.
