American detective Mike Conlin (Wayne Morris), teams up with Scotland Yard to catch the villains behind a big counterfeiting ring. After the mysterious death of an American airline radio operator, the Yard suspect the operation may originate in the United States, and Conlin is brought over to help.

Critical reception
Avelyman thought the film "has a few neat moments, but is pretty much filler" ; while TV Guide called it an "interesting British attempt to put an American-style, hard-boiled detective in their own yard, (it) even goes as far as naming the hero "Mike" instead of the usual "Geoffrey" or "Ronnie."
