The Clipper was a newspaper published in Hobart, Tasmania from 1893 to 1909. The title merged with the Daily Post in 1910.

History
The Clipper was a weekly labor orientated publication, published from 8 April 1893 to 25 December 1909. The first editor was James Paton, a Christian Socialist. In 1903 Walter Alan Woods became editor and part owner until the newspaper merged with the Daily Post in 1910.

The paper has been digitised as part of the Australian Newspapers Digitisation Program project of the National Library of Australia.
