As of January 1, 2011, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reported 6,930 members in two stakes, 16 congregations (seven wards and nine branches), one mission, and one temple in North Dakota.

The South Dakota Rapid City Mission was renamed the North Dakota Bismarck Mission in 2015.
