The Chew is an American cooking-themed talk show that airs on ABC as part of the network's weekday daytime lineup. The name and format was inspired by fellow ABC talk show, The View, but The Chew centers on food-related and lifestyle topics rather than celebrity news.

Contents

The program also airs in Canada on City. A limited number of ABC affiliates in the Central Time Zone, where it airs with the East at 1 p.m. ET/noon Central, air the program on a one-day delay (maintaining the delay schedule All My Children followed before it was ended; this delays the Friday episode to Monday) in order to continue airing their noon hour local newscasts.

In April 2015, The Chew won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host. This is the show's first Emmy win and also the first Daytime Emmy nomination and first win for each of the five co-hosts.
