School Song

The school song was copyrighted in 1951 with words and music by an anonymous Sister of St. Francis. It was later renewed for the 50th Anniversary in 1988 with acknowledgment of the true author, Sister Francis Marie Yocum, OSF.

Our voices tuned by joyous love Catholic High, we sing your praise, And to you pledge our loyalty Through the length of days. Our Mother fair you'll always be Guiding us right, To celestial glory And the King of Light Catholic High, your grateful daughters promise Ever to uphold Principles of truth and honor As our lives unfold. We will strive beneath your sparkling banner Green and Gold to glorify; Steadfast to our motto, Viva Catholic High. Alma Mater fair, we're proud of you, And your graceful portals blessed To keep our "light e'er shining" We will do our best Knowledge found in you a true ally; Your name and fame Echo forth your virtues And your worth proclaim.
