The Bottle & Fresh Horses is the second major label studio album by alternative rock band The Refreshments, released on September 16, 1997 (see 1997 in music). The band parted ways with their label in December 1997, shortly after the release of this album. In a Deseret News interview with Roger Clyne in 2012, he stated the following about this album “I remember it was chaos writing it and recording".
