Boost Communications AS is a mobile marketing and advertising company, offering ad technology and services for mobile marketing and mobile advertising. The company is composed of three units: the parent company, Boost Communications AS, and two subsidiaries, Boostcom Media AS (51% owned by Boost Communications) and Boost Advertising AS (100% owned by Boost Communications). The company is headquartered in Trondheim, Norway with offices in Oslo, London, Dubai and Johannesburg. Boost Communications Group works primarily with brands, publishers and agencies.

Company history

Boost Communications AS was established in 2000 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway.

In January 2005, Boost established a US subsidiary: Boost Communications Inc, which specialized in SMS messaging services for the U.S. radio and media industry. In late 2006, Boost Communications became a minority shareholder of Boost Communications Inc, which later changed its name to mSnap, Inc. On September 29, 2010, mSnap, Inc. was acquired and now operates as a subsidiary of Marketron Broadcast Solutions, LLC.

In 2006, Boost Communications founded a new a subsidiary, Boostcom Media (formerly known as Boostcom CRM Shopping). Boostcom Media provides customer loyalty and marketing tools to Norwegian shopping centres. By 2010, Boostcom Media was providing tools and services to over 100 shopping centres and retail chains in the Norwegian market.

mCMS is the company's mobile CMS platform for building advanced mobile campaign sites, mobile portals and hybrid apps.

MADMAKER™

SMS platform
