The album was produced by Ant Banks, Clint "Payback" Sands, Mike Mosley, Paris and Rick Rock. It peaked at number 28 on the Billboard 200 and at number 5 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The album features guest appearances by WC, Big Syke, Ice-T, Too Short, Kokane, MC Breed, Yukmouth and Mack 10.

The song, "2 Hands & a Razorblade, was originally heard in the film, Dangerous Ground, and was also released on the film's soundtrack.
