Thaai Sollai Thattadhe is a 1961 Tamil language drama film directed by M. A. Thirumugam The film features M. G. Ramachandran and B. Saroja Devi in lead roles. The film, produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar, had musical score by K. V. Mahadevan in which the back round sound effect for fighting scenes were effectively composed. The film was released on occasion of diwali 1961 and was a blockbuster at the box-office and ran for 140 days all over Tamil Nadu.

Plot

Thai Sollai Thattathe highlights the values of a mothers teaching and what wrong can happen if a child goes against his mother. Raju (MGR) is an honest police inspector working hard to bring down a group of thieves. While on his mission he crosses paths with Vijaya (Saroja Devi) and they both fall in love. But things take an unfortunate turn when Raju realizes the criminal he is hunting is none than his brother Mohan (S. A. Ashokan). What happens next forms the crux of the story.
