Route description

The western terminus of Spur 6 is at SH 20 (Doniphan Rd.) in Anthony. The route travels east and then north along Wildcat Dr. before ending at FM 1905 (Antonio St.).

History

A previous route numbered Loop 6 was designated in 1939, as a loop off of US 370 (now US 287) through the town of Kirkland in Childress County. This route was removed from the state highway system in 1972.

The current designation for Spur 6 was established in 1998, replacing FM 3500.
