Tetsuya Sotomura (外村 哲也, Sotomura Tetsuya, born (1984-10-09)9 October 1984) is a Japanese individual trampolinist, representing his nation at international competitions. He took up the sport at age 10. His international debut was at the 2003 Trampoline World Championships. He participated at the 2008 Summer Olympics. He further competed at the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2015 Trampoline World Championships.

In 2011 he sustained injuries to his knee. In 2014 he sustained injuries to his leg.

Personal

He studied Physical Education at the Nippon Sport Science University.

His father Koji Sotomura competed in artistic gymnastics and won bronze medals in the team all-around and on floor at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
