Terry W. Burns (born in 1942) is an American Western Fiction author. Burns has written over two dozen books, including seven fiction books. He has also contributed to a number of short story collections.

Burns is also a literary agent for Hartline Literary Agency. He graduated from West Texas State and did graduate work at Southern Methodist University with the Institute of Organization Management program.
